Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan has decided in a notice to delay the official workday tomorrow, Wednesday, until 10 AM in ministries, official departments, institutions, and public bodies in the governorates of Karak, Tafilah, and Ma'an, in order to ensure the safety of citizens, in light of the prevailing weather conditions.
This decision followed reviews of reports from relevant authorities about the weather conditions, which indicate expectations of dense fog and strong winds in those governorates during the morning hours, which may pose a risk to public safety.
The decision also includes an order to consider the implications of this decision on workers traveling to their workplaces from those governorates to areas outside their residence, except for departments where the nature of their work requires otherwise.
