Khaberni - The Director of Meteorology, Raed Al Khattab, stated that the intensity of rainfall during the current Al-Murba’aniyah was outstanding compared to previous years, highlighting that it is considered the highest in terms of rainfall quantities compared to the past five seasons.
Al Khattab clarified, during his statements on "Al-Mamlaka" on Tuesday evening, that the meteorological maps still indicate the flow of quantities of rainy clouds towards the kingdom, noting that Jordan will remain under the influence of the low pressure during Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
He indicated that the expected precipitations in the coming hours will be of moderate intensity, with the possibility of snow showers during night periods on the Sharah mountains, expecting light accumulations.
He added that the activity of the low pressure will decline on Wednesday, with intermittent rainfall until the evening hours, then the weather will gradually stabilize.
Al Khattab mentioned that the Meteorology Administration broadcasts weather-related warnings through liaison officers in various official institutions of the kingdom, to ensure the rapid delivery of information and necessary actions.
