Civil Aviation Air traffic in Jordan operates regularly despite the weather conditions

Khaberni - Captain Daifallah Al-Farajat, chairman of the board of commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, confirmed that air navigation at the kingdom's airports has been continuing normally and regularly since the morning hours, despite the prevailing low-pressure weather system.

Al-Farajat explained that operational activities at various airports have not recorded any significant delays or cancellations, as flights, both incoming and outgoing, continued their operations according to the approved timetables and with high fluidity.

He pointed out the high readiness of the technical and operational crews, and their ability to efficiently deal with changing weather conditions, noting that the daily air traffic at Jordanian airports amounts to more than 240 incoming and outgoing flights to regional and international destinations, transporting more than 26,000 passengers arriving and departing through the kingdom's airports.

Al-Farajat affirmed that the plans in place for dealing with various weather conditions ensure the continuity of operations and the safety of passengers, with continuous monitoring of weather updates and consistent coordination with relevant entities, in alignment with the highest international safety standards.
