Khaberni - Captain Dhayfallah Al-Farajat confirmed that air traffic at the kingdom’s airports has been continuing normally and regularly since the morning hours, despite the region being affected by the prevailing low pressure system.
Al-Farajat explained that the operational activities in various airports have not recorded any notable delays or cancellations, where flights, both incoming and outgoing, continued their operations according to the fixed timetables and with high fluidity.
He highlighted the high readiness of the technical and operational staff, and their ability to efficiently deal with changing weather conditions, clarifying that the daily flight movement at Jordanian airports exceeds 240 incoming and outgoing flights to regional and international destinations, transporting more than 26,000 travelers arriving and departing through the kingdom’s airports.
Al-Farajat affirmed that the approved plans to deal with various weather conditions ensure the continuity of operations and the safety of passengers, with the diligent monitoring of weather updates and continuous coordination with the relevant authorities, in line with the highest international safety standards.
