Commander of US Central Command Naval Forces Visits Jordanian Naval Force Command

Khaberni - The Commander of the US Central Command Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Curt Renschow, visited the Royal Naval and Marine Command on Tuesday, and was welcomed by the Force Commander.

The visiting delegation listened to a military briefing presented by the Force Commander, addressing the operational, training, and logistics situation and highlighting the achievements in enhancing maritime security in the region and internationally. They also discussed current and international developments, alongside a number of issues of mutual interest.

The delegation toured the Naval Operations Center, examined maritime radar systems used for day and night surveillance, and sophisticated devices based on artificial intelligence technologies in the field of unmanned maritime systems, at the Jordanian Center for Unmanned Systems Operations (JROC), which was recently opened at the Force Command.

For his part, Vice Admiral Renschow expressed his admiration for the role played by the Royal Naval and Marine Command in protecting the Jordanian maritime borders and preserving the security and safety of navigation lines in the region and internationally.

At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation wrote a note in the distinguished visitors' book.
