From Ramtha to Tafilah and Aqaba Orange Continues to Invest in the Expansion of the Fiber Network

Khaberni  - In a move that reflects its long-term investment approach in developing digital infrastructure, Orange Jordan announced a new expansion of the fiber network to include Tafilah Governorate and additional areas in Aqaba Governorate, within an ongoing path to expand coverage throughout the various governorates of the Kingdom, including Ramtha, Karak, and Zarqa, alongside implementing a series of recent expansions in Irbid Governorate.

This significant step is part of Orange Jordan's strategy aimed at building a more inclusive and efficient digital network, capable of meeting the increasing demand for high-speed internet services, and supporting advanced digital usage for individuals, businesses, and institutions, in line with the requirements for economic growth and digital transformation in the Kingdom.

Orange Jordan affirmed that the expansion of the fiber network represents an extension of its ongoing commitment to investing in improving the quality of networks and enhancing their reliability, based on understanding customer needs. The company added that since the launch of fiber services in 2016, it has reached approximately 1.135 million covered homes across the various governorates of the Kingdom, a clear indicator of the growing trust in the company's services and its ability to keep pace with the rapid development in the telecommunications sector.

In this context, these efforts have been embodied by the company receiving the award for "Fastest Fixed Internet Network - Fiber" in the Kingdom for the year 2024 and for the third consecutive year, according to the speed test results on the global SpeedChecker index.
