Khaberni - CRIF Jordan continues its role in educating the insurance sector about the importance of credit inquiries, through its participation in the supplementary meeting held by the Jordanian Federation of Insurance Companies with insurance companies, which was designated to discuss legal, technical aspects, information security requirements, data protection, and mechanisms for benefiting from CRIF services in insurance operations.
Legal and technical representatives from insurance companies attended the meeting, where the focus was on the legal framework governing the use of credit information in the insurance sector, the technical requirements necessary for systems integration, in addition to information security standards and data protection, in line with related laws and approved instructions.
During the meeting, which was attended by CRIF's Deputy General Manager Fadi Tawabeeni and Business Development Manager Tareq Al-Habahbeh, they presented an overview of credit data usage models in financial sectors, and the potential alignment with the specifics of the insurance sector, contributing to the improvement of decision quality and enhancing the financial solvency of insurance companies.
The discussion also touched on how to practically benefit from the services of CRIF Jordan, its role in supporting underwriting decisions and risk management, and answering inquiries from insurance companies about the application of these services.
