Khaberni – A private Jordanian university decided to expel a student permanently, on the grounds of him taking an exam for a colleague on campus.
The student denied to his father the validity of the accusation against him, which prompted the father to review the university administration and demand clarifications about the decision; however, the university refused, asserting that the investigations were confidential and pertained to its internal affairs.
Journalist specialized in security issues, Ghazi Marayat, asked in a video about the legal options available to the father and the student to contest the expulsion order and compel the university to disclose details of the investigation.
