Khaberni - In a step to enhance international cooperation, consolidate regional relationships, and exchange expertise in the field of higher education between Amman Arab University and regional universities, the President of Amman Arab University, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, visited the Kurdistan region of Iraq. During this visit, a cooperation agreement was signed with Bayan University aimed at strengthening cooperation ties and exchanging academic and scientific expertise and information across various disciplines, in addition to providing opportunities for students and researchers that contribute to the development of the educational and research processes for all parties involved.
Under this agreement, joint international conferences will be organized across multiple fields, along with joint seminars and workshops, and activation of student and faculty exchange programs, all of which will enhance the knowledge flow and contribute to the exchange of cultures and academic experiences among students and members of both teaching and administrative bodies at these universities.
Dr. Al-Widian affirmed that this agreement is in harmony with the vision of Amman Arab University to enhance its academic partnerships regionally and internationally, and exchange scientific and research expertise, which contributes to the development of academic programs, and provides quality opportunities for students and faculty members to elevate the quality of higher education, and keep pace with global changes in scientific research and innovation.
It is worth mentioning that this visit follows the announcement by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan region of Iraq of its decision to officially recognize all Jordanian public and private universities, reflecting the robust academic relations between both parties and opening broader prospects for future joint cooperation.
It is noted that Bayan University is an academic institution involved in university education, scientific research, and serving the local and Arab community, holding the necessary approvals from the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education.
