Khaberni - In a step to enhance international cooperation and strengthen regional relations, and exchange expertise in the field of higher education between Amman Arab University and regional universities, President of Amman Arab University, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, visited the Kurdistan region of Iraq. During the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed with Bayan University to enhance the bonds of cooperation and exchange of academic and scientific expertise and information in various disciplines, in addition to providing opportunities for students and researchers contributing to the development of the educational and research process for all parties involved.
Under this agreement, joint international conferences will be organized in multiple fields, along with seminars and joint workshops, and activation of student and faculty exchange programs, enhancing the flow of knowledge and contributing to the cultural and academic experience exchange among students and members of both the teaching and administrative bodies of these universities.
Dr. Al-Widian confirmed that this agreement is in line with the vision of Amman Arab University to enhance its regional and international academic partnerships, and exchange scientific and research expertise, contributing to the development of academic programs and providing quality opportunities for students and faculty members to enhance the quality of higher education and keep up with global changes in scientific research and innovation.
It is worth noting that this visit follows the announcement by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan region of Iraq of its official recognition of all Jordanian public and private universities, which reflects the strength of academic relations between the two sides and opens broader prospects for joint cooperation in the future.
It is noted that Bayan University is an academic institution concerned with university education and scientific research and serving the local and Arab community, having received the necessary approvals from the Ministry of Higher Education of Iraq.
