Khaberni - On Tuesday, Spain summoned the Iranian ambassador to express "strong condemnation and disapproval" for the crackdown carried out by Tehran authorities on protests which, according to human rights organizations, resulted in the death of hundreds.
Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares told Catalonia Radio: "The right of Iranians, both men and women, to peaceful protest and freedom of expression must be respected, and arbitrary arrests must stop."
