Khaberni - The Governor of Irbid, Radwan Al-Atoum, affirmed that all government departments, municipalities, public works directorates, and joint services in the governorate are ready to deal with the weather depression.
Al-Atoum stated that the emergency room in the governorate operates around the clock and coordinates with security forces to handle any reports it receives, explaining that service institutions are prepared to deal with heavy rains, flooding, and maintain traffic flow continuity.
He pointed out that maintenance work on water drainage culverts continues, and the workforce has been reinforced in critical areas, and shelters have been prepared.
He advised citizens to take the utmost caution, avoid low-lying areas, check submersible pumps, secure merchandise in basements, follow public safety instructions for safe heating use and necessary ventilation, and to report any observations immediately through the numbers designated for operation rooms.
