Khaberni - The competent authorities in Egypt are investigating an official complaint filed against the blogger "Beej Yasmeen," which includes accusations of her imitating men and insulting Egyptian women, through the publication of visual clips described as not conforming to societal values.
A lawyer has filed a report with the Attorney General against the content creator known as Beej Yasmeen, who is active on the TikTok platform, accusing her of broadcasting visual content considered in violation of ethical norms and religious standards followed in society.
The complaint clarified that the subject has consistently posted video clips containing behaviors and performances said to conflict with sound nature, promoting unhealthy phenomena that affect the identity of Egyptian women, by appearing in a style that involves imitating men in a demonstrative and organized manner, which may lead to confusion of concepts among youth and adolescents.
The complainant confirmed that these actions constitute a clear violation of Egyptian customs and traditions, as well as a breach of the provisions of the Cybercrime Law No. 175 of 2018, along with some articles of the Penal Code related to incitement to indecency, demanding an urgent investigation into the matter and taking the necessary legal actions to stop this type of content, in order to preserve moral values and protect the image of Egyptian women in society.
