Royal Jordanian Clarifies Regarding the Delay of Its Flight from Jeddah to Amman and Apologizes to Its Passengers

Khaberni  -  January 2026, Royal Jordanian Airlines clarifies that flight number (707) from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman was delayed due to a technical fault detected on the plane while it was on the ground at Jeddah airport before its departure.
Following this, Royal Jordanian began implementing the procedures approved according to international aviation laws and regulations, where a specialized maintenance team and the necessary technical equipment were dispatched to repair the aircraft. It was also decided to send a replacement aircraft from the Royal Jordanian fleet to transport the passengers, which will depart from Jeddah at 7 PM tonight.
The company also provided the necessary hotel accommodation for the passengers, in addition to offering ongoing support and monitoring by their teams at the airport, to minimize the effects of the delay as much as possible until the completion of the journey.
Royal Jordanian Airlines expresses its apologies to the passengers for this delay and the inconvenience caused, affirming that the decision to send a replacement aircraft reflects the company’s commitment to providing responsible operational solutions, without compromising the safety standards that always remain a top priority.
