Khaberni - The Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. Obaid Allah Al-Muayta, met in his office today, Monday, the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, and the accompanying delegation to discuss areas of cooperation and joint coordination aimed at enhancing security and stability and supporting humanitarian and community efforts effectively.
Major General Al-Muayta affirmed the importance of the ongoing cooperation between the Directorate of Public Security and the United Nations organization, which includes a suite of security and service programs and activities related to sustainable development. He pointed to the necessity of continuing to develop specialized partnerships based on solid institutional foundations, contributing to strengthening the security system and enhancing the capabilities of the ranks participating in international peacekeeping missions.
For his part, the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations praised the advanced and qualitative approach implemented by the Directorate of Public Security in enhancing its cooperation with the organization, confirming that this approach reflects a clear strategic vision aimed at supporting the justice system and enhancing security and stability at various levels.
