Khaberni - The General Manager of the Military Consumer Corporation, Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Hadid, announced the arrival of the first batch of imported olive oil to the corporation's warehouses on Saturday, in preparation for offering it to citizens in the markets of the corporation after completing the necessary procedures.
Brigadier General Al-Hadid said in radio statements that the corporation is waiting to complete the required laboratory tests to verify the safety and quality of the oil before starting to officially sell it in its markets, confirming the adherence to approved standards to ensure the quality of the product offered to consumers.
Al-Hadid clarified that the price of a 5-liter bottle of olive oil will be 21 dinars, noting that this price will be uniform in both the Military Consumer Corporation and the Civilian Consumer Corporation, aiming to provide the essential material to citizens at a reasonable and affordable price.
He confirmed that there will not be a specific number of bottles allowed to be purchased per citizen, pointing out that the corporation has imported large quantities of olive oil, and it will be supplied in several batches, ensuring continuous availability of the material in the markets and preventing any shortage or pressure on the available quantities.
Regarding the upcoming batches, Al-Hadid mentioned that the second batch of imported olive oil is scheduled to arrive at the corporation's warehouses on January 20th, while the third batch will arrive on the 25th of the same month, as part of a clear plan to secure sufficient quantities to meet the needs of the local market.
