Khaberni - The internet blackout imposed by the Iranian authorities last Thursday amid protests continues, according to today’s Monday report from the non-governmental organization NetBlocks, which monitors internet.
The organization stated that "as Iran wakes up to a new day, data shows that the national-level internet outage has surpassed 84 hours," pointing out the possibility of circumventing the network disruption through the use of a shortwave radio communication device, connecting to a mobile phone network in border areas, and accessing services like Starlink and satellite phones.
Last night, Tehran witnessed a new protest after US President Donald Trump stated that "the United States is ready to help," amidst the ongoing protests and internet blackout in Iran.
The protests started on December 28 (December) last year with a strike conducted by traders in Tehran's bazaar due to the deterioration of the currency exchange rate and purchasing power in the country.
After the major protests on Thursday, new demonstrations emerged on the night of Friday and Saturday, according to verified scenes by AFP agency, in addition to other clips that spread on social media, despite the internet blackout imposed by the authorities.
