Bayoumi Fouad weeps and apologizes to Mohamed Salam after two years of estrangement Video

Khaberni - Egyptian artist Bayoumi Fouad publicly apologized to his colleague Mohamed Salam, after more than two years of estrangement that arose amidst the controversy surrounding Salam's apology for not participating in a play during "Riyadh Season" at the end of 2023.

The apology came during Bayoumi Fouad's appearance on the "Cooperation Apartment" podcast with Hossam Dagher, where he directly addressed Mohamed Salam, saying: "I really want to see you in something this Ramadan, may God grant you success and mend the situation, and I know your true mettle, and may God let this matter pass well."

Adding tearfully, "You know who Bayoumi Fouad is very well, and may God grant you success and you break all barriers, and if you are upset with me, my son, I am sorry."

Bayoumi Fouad acknowledged his mistake in the video that previously appeared, confirming that his appearance in that manner was detrimental to him and harmed his relationship with his colleague Mohamed Salam.

Bayoumi Fouad clarified that what he did was intended to protect Mohamed Anwar, asserting that it was not asked of him, but he realized later that his action was interpreted as abandoning his friend Mohamed Salam, which led to criticisms against him.

Bayoumi emphasized that he is not seeking to top the trend or gain sympathy on social media, considering what happened as a "harsh test" of which he fully bore the consequences.

In another context, the Egyptian artist denied rumors about his preference to work outside his country, affirming that he is "Egyptian to the core" and holds no other nationality, mentioning that he stopped the process of obtaining a Dominican passport after learning it would grant him a second nationality, specifying that his intent was only to facilitate travel and nothing more.
