With profound sadness and grief, the Jordanian Communist Party mourns to our Jordanian people, and especially to the masses of Karak, the national figure and true fighter, Dr. Abdullah Za’al Al-Dmour, whom we bid farewell after a life full of national giving and faithful public service, leaving an indelible mark in both local and national history.
The deceased, friend, and ally Dr. Abdullah Za’al Al-Dmour, was the former Mayor of Karak for more than one term, and one of the leading figures in the glorious April Uprising, representing an advanced model of national leadership aligned with the concerns and rights of the people, defending their rights and dignity against unfair policies. He was known for his honorable national and social positions, and his constant presence among his townspeople, striving to serve them with dedication and responsibility, without discrimination or favoritism.
The late Dr. was distinguished by his firm stance and clear vision, and was exemplary in his dedication to national work and integrity in public service. He was characterized by his bravery in speaking the truth, his boldness in facing challenges, and his deep sense of belonging to the proud Karak, the homeland, and the causes of the Arab nation. He was a man true to himself and his people, steadfast in his principles, a person of strong will and firm stances, who understood neither compromise on rights nor courtesy at the expense of values.
Dr. Abdullah Za’al Al-Dmour was indeed a model for the national fighter who combined a responsible political stance, honest municipal and service work, and commitment to the daily issues of the people, thereby earning the respect of his people and the appreciation of national and progressive forces.
We, in the Jordanian Communist Party, as we mourn this great national leader, extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to his noble family, to the people of Karak, to his comrades and admirers, affirming that his national legacy and honorable stances will remain vivid in the conscience of our people, and be a source of struggle for freedom, social justice, and a democratic national state.
