College of Arts and Sciences at Amman Arab University organizes a specialized training workshop on Volunteer Work

Khaberni - As part of enhancing community responsibility values and developing the skills of students at Amman Arab University and promoting the culture of volunteer work, the College of Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with the Office of Relations and Community Responsibility, and the Dean of Student Affairs at the university, organized a training workshop on "Volunteer Work", supervised by Dr. Lina Al Jarrah, a faculty member in the College of Arts and Sciences, and Mr. Bassam Al-Basha'ira, director of the Office of Relations and Community Responsibility at the university.

The workshop aims to enhance the culture of volunteer work among students of the "Volunteer Work and Community Development" course, highlight the vital role in developing personal and social skills, establish values of responsibility and belonging, and introduce the fundamentals and mechanisms for effective planning and execution of volunteer initiatives.

In this context, Dr. Al Jarrah pointed out that the workshop discussed interactive topics about the concept of volunteer work and its importance in community building, available volunteer opportunities, showcasing Amman Arab University's experiences in this field, in addition to presenting volunteer platforms such as the Volunteer Club and the "We" platform, where the workshop saw significant student interaction through discussions and questions, which contributed to enhancing their skills and developing a sense of responsibility and belonging.

At the end of the workshop, participants emphasized the importance of continuing to organize such events, due to their significant impact on shaping the personality of students and encouraging them to positively engage in community service, and emanating from the values of social solidarity promoted by our noble religion.
