Khaberni - In a surprising development that reflects the depth of her crisis, the Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab moved secretly to reside in the home of a famous artist, hoping to overcome her health and psychological ordeal.
A source close to the Egyptian star revealed in exclusive statements to "Alarabiya.net" that Sherine had been living in complete isolation inside her home in the "Sheikh Zayed" area of Giza Governorate, where she would stay alone for long periods, accompanied only by a household staff, away from the hustle and bustle of lights and the eyes of friends.
The source also explained that the circle of communication with the owner of the song "A Second Wound" had become very limited to a few art stars, led by a famous actress who has a close friendship with Sherine and her sister.
In her private home
Facing the deterioration of Sherine's psychological state, the famous artist initiated a humane proposal, suggesting that the singer move in with her and her sister to their private home to provide full care for her.
Despite the strong initial refusal expressed by Sherine, the insistence of some of her loyal surroundings on the necessity of her recovery was behind convincing her to move to live under the care of the famous star, who resides in one of the upscale residential complexes on the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road.
Additionally, the source confirmed that an ambulance was used to secretly transfer Sherine Abdel Wahab to her new residence, to ensure her comfort and provide complete privacy during the transfer process.
Successive crises
This move comes just days after statements by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the head of the acting professions union, who tried to calm public fears on the "MBC Egypt" screen, affirming that he visited Sherine at her home and found her "well," although she is currently experiencing a desire to lose contact or go out.
Sherine has been suffering from successive crises for about a year, starting with sharp disputes with her brother Mohamed, which reached the corridors of legal records, passing through a severe depression that made her confined to her room, communicating only with her daughters, which prompted cries of help from her fans through hashtags like "#Where_is_Sherine" and "#Search_for_Sherine".
Despite Sherine's attempts to reassure her followers on "Instagram" last month that she is well, the recent incident of her being transferred by ambulance to her friend's house confirms that the major star is still waging a fierce battle to regain her balance and return to her audience.
