Khaberni - The office of Swiss writer Erich von Däniken announced today, Sunday, his death at the age of 90 years, explaining that the writer, known for his theories about extraterrestrial beings, passed away yesterday Saturday after a short stay at Untersseen Hospital near the Swiss capital, Bern.
von Däniken, whose family confirmed his death to the German news agency, authored dozens of best-selling books in which he discussed what he believed to be evidence of extraterrestrial beings on Earth. Among his most prominent theories was that the Egyptian pyramids were built with the help of extraterrestrial beings.
Through his YouTube channel, the writer, who was also a skilled chef, presented many lectures on visitors from space in ancient times, whom humans at the time considered gods.
Over decades, von Däniken devoted himself to writing reports and books, and undertook hundreds of exploratory trips that were often filled with adventures to search for and document the alleged relics of extraterrestrial beings on Earth.
