Real Madrid Reigns Supreme in Global Shirt Sales in 2025

Khaberni - Real Madrid led the list of clubs with the highest shirt sales in the year 2025, confirming its position as one of the largest brands in the world of football, after its sales exceeded the 3.1 million shirts in a single year.

The Spanish newspaper As reported that this figure reflects the continuing global allure of Real Madrid, supported by a long history of continental successes and a consistent presence at the forefront of the football scene.

It said: "Barcelona came in second place by a narrow margin, recording about 2.94 million shirts sold, in a clear indicator of the Catalan club's ability to maintain its broad popularity despite the sporting and economic challenges it has faced over recent seasons.

It added: "Barcelona's global fan base remained a crucial factor in keeping the club among the elite of the highest marketing clubs."

It continued: "Paris Saint-Germain maintained its strong presence in the global market, ranking third with sales exceeding 2.54 million shirts, as the French club benefited from its modern image and wide marketing outreach, in addition to its continuous presence in European competitions, enhancing its status as one of the most attractive clubs outside the traditional framework of historical clubs."

It further stated: "Bayern Munich came fourth with sales nearing 2.38 million shirts, affirming the strength of the German brand and its stability on the domestic and continental level, especially since the team's continual success in the Bundesliga, along with its permanent European presence, maintained a strong fan connection both within Germany and internationally."

Conversely, the biggest surprise on the list was the presence of Inter Miami in fifth place, with sales reaching about 2.16 million shirts. The American club succeeded in breaking into the list of global giants in a short period, benefiting from significant media momentum and the popularity of its stars, thus confirming that the football market is open to new forces capable of competing commercially with the most historic European clubs."

It concluded: "These figures reflect the increasing transformation of football into a comprehensive global industry, where successes on the field alone are no longer the standard of excellence, but rather fan impact and marketing spread are decisive elements in the race of clubs for supremacy off the green field."
