Khaberni - The total quantity of oil that the Kingdom imported from Iraq since the resumption of exports in October last year until the end of November was about 571.9 thousand barrels, compared with 584.7 thousand barrels during the same period last year, registering a decrease of about 2.1%.
Iraq decided to resume oil supply to the Kingdom from October 5th last year until January 31, 2026, after a suspension that lasted since last July, following the expiration of the oil export memorandum of understanding that was in place between the two countries, for the purposes of completing the transfer of agreed quantities within the frame of the expired memorandum, according to Al-Ghad.
On a monthly level, according to the data from the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, the quantities of oil supplied to the Kingdom in November 2025 were about 299.8 thousand barrels, compared to 266.7 thousand barrels during the same month of the year 2024, while the imports during October were about 272 thousand barrels, compared with 318 thousand barrels during the same month of the year 2024.
Jordan imports Iraqi oil regularly under a memorandum of understanding that was first signed between the two countries in February 2019, and is renewed annually, ensuring that the Kingdom is supplied with part of its needs for crude oil under preferential terms.
