Khaberni - The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report regarding the general index of industrial producers' prices, which observed a decrease in industrial producers' prices for the first 11 months of last year by 0.70 percent (less than one percentage point) compared with the same period in 2024.
On a monthly level, the general index for industrial producers' prices decreased by 0.69 percent in November compared with the same month in 2024, and increased by 0.57 percent compared with the preceding month of the same year, noting that the base year is 2018=100.
Consequently, the index of industrial producers' prices for the first eleven months of 2025 amounted to 106.46 percentage points compared to 107.20 for the same period in 2024, and on a monthly level, the index for November 2025 amounted to 105.80 compared to 106.54 for the same month in 2024.
The price index of industrial producers for November 2025 registered 105.80 compared to 105.20 against the preceding month of the same year.
Comparing the cumulative index for the first eleven months of 2025 with the same period in 2024, the prices of manufacturing industries decreased by 0.95 percent, which represent their relative importance of 88.74 percent, while the prices of extraction industries increased by 2.19 percent, which represent their relative importance of 5.36 percent, and electricity prices increased by 0.59 percent, representing a relative importance of 5.91 percent.
On the commodity level, contributing to the decrease in the index for November 2025 compared with the same month in 2024 was a decrease in the prices of manufacturing industries by 1.03 percent, which represent their relative importance of 88.74 percent, and electricity prices by 2.43 percent, which represent a relative importance of 5.91 percent, while the prices of extraction industries increased by 7.16 percent, which represent their relative importance of 5.36 percent.
On a monthly change basis, the general index of industrial producers' prices for November 2025 increased compared with the preceding month due to an increase in prices of manufacturing industries by 0.40 percent, which represent their relative importance of 88.74 percent, and prices of extraction industries by 4.34 percent, which represent their relative importance of 5.36 percent, while electricity prices decreased by 0.27 percent, which represent their relative importance of 5.91 percent.
