Khaberni - Manchester United's troubles worsened after being knocked out of the English FA Cup following a 2-1 defeat to Brighton on Sunday.
Brighton took the lead with a goal scored by Brian Groda in the first half at Old Trafford, before former United striker Danny Welbeck added a second goal after the start of the second half.
Benjamin Sesko reduced the deficit for the home team in the 85th minute, taking his team out in the third round.
United are still without a coach after the dismissal of Portuguese Ruben Amorim, with the club appointing Darren Fletcher on an interim basis until a new coach is contracted.
