Khaberni - Mrs. Maisa, a Jordanian lady, expressed her gratitude and appreciation on social media after recovering her precious gold bracelet, which she had lost near a restaurant, praising the integrity of a Jordanian young man who returned it to her without hesitation, and refusing any financial reward.
Maisa, who resides in the capital, Amman, in a message received by the site Khaberni, said she customarily collects leftover food daily from the restaurant "Charcoal and Meat" to feed street cats, in a humanitarian initiative she persistently carries out out of compassion. She added that the restaurant's management continuously cooperates with her, saying: "May God bless their restaurant and increase their livelihood because of their kind-heartedness."
One night, while on her way to collect the food, she noticed that a new gold bracelet she was wearing, worth about 2000 Jordanian Dinars, had disappeared. She mentioned that she felt great anxiety and began to earnestly pray to God, saying: "O Lord, if you know that I feed the street cats for Your sake, please return my bracelet to me."
During moments of anxiety and search, a young man approached her, whom she described as "gentle like the moonlight", to ask her: "Is this bracelet yours?". It turned out that the young man, named Ahmad Aliyan, had found the bracelet while leaving the restaurant for no apparent reason and began asking passersby about its owner until he met Maisa.
Mrs. Maisa said: "I asked him his name, he said Ahmad Aliyan, and he refused to take any reward. May God make goodness in his path," adding that the situation restored her faith that goodness is still present among the nation's youth, and that valor and honesty are an integral part of the values of the Jordanian society.
She concluded by saying: "Thank God that goodness persists, and God rewards with goodness ... and all pride in Jordan's loyal youth like Ahmad, the gallant and splendid, the ornament of the nation’s youth."
