A Nightmare Becomes Reality The Death of a Colombian Artist in a Terrifying Plane Crash He Dreamed About 3 Times

Khaberni - A disturbing vision that haunted Colombian singer Yeison Jimenez turned into a tragic reality after he was killed along with five others in a plane crash that he had predicted in recurring dreams that haunted him during the past months.

Colombia lost one of its leading stars of folk music when the light aircraft carrying Yeison Orlando Jimenez Galindo, aged 34, crashed minutes after taking off from the airport in Paipa, in the Tundama province, last Saturday.

The singer was en route to perform at a music concert in the nearby town of Marinilla, close to the city of Medellin, but fate intervened preventing his arrival, as the plane failed to gain enough altitude. Circulating video clips captured the last moments of horror, where the screams of witnesses warning of a collision with the runway were heard before the plane crashed to the ground and was engulfed in flames.

What added a mysterious dimension to the incident was the late singer revealing in a previous interview on a talk show about recurring dreams he had about being in an aerial accident, where Jimenez described how he saw himself in three separate occasions facing a plane crash, two of which during his tour in Spain.

The late singer said in that interview, seriously: "I began to dream of a very sensitive issue, which is that we would have an accident, I saw it three times in my dream, I had never told anyone this before."

He added, explaining the details of his vision that someone showed him everything he needed to do, and that he dreamt twice while he was in Spain about arriving at Olaya in Medellin, where the captain tells him the plane is ready.

Minutes before boarding the plane, Jimenez posted a deeply meaningful post on his Instagram account, writing: "Always be humble, because what God gives you can be taken away from you," no one realized then that these words would be the last he shared with his audience.

Accompanying him on his final journey was his personal photographer, Yesman Mora, who recorded a final video of them aboard the plane just before takeoff, making this recording a witness to the last moments of their lives.

From an official standpoint, the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority issued an official statement confirming the death of all six passengers of the plane after emergency teams and the national police arrived at the crash site.

And the statement, which was transferred by the newspaper "Metro," indicated that among the victims was the artist known in Colombian popular music, Yeison Jimenez.

The government of the Boyaca region also expressed its solidarity with the families of the victims, describing Jimenez as one of the leading symbols of Colombian popular music.

Jimenez had started his artistic career at the age of seven, managed to compose more than 70 songs over his professional life, released 8 music albums, and contributed to reviving the genre of popular music, a Colombian folk music style that mixes traditional Mexican ranchera music with Colombian roots.

The singer achieved a historic accomplishment in 2024 when he sold out tickets for two consecutive concerts in Movistar Arena in Bogota, becoming the first Colombian artist in popular music to achieve this feat, and he performed shows in several countries around the world over his career.

His daughter Camila Jimenez, whom he adopted after meeting his partner Sonia Restrepo, the mother of his other two children, expressed her sadness on social media saying: "I love you dad, you don't know how much it hurts to watch your clips and you are not here."
