Khaberni - Sudanese Prime Minister Kamal Idris, associated with the military, announced on Sunday the government's return to Khartoum, after about three years of relocation to Port Sudan.
Idris told reporters in war-torn Khartoum where the army and the Rapid Support Forces clashed: "We returned today, and the government of hope moves back to the national capital."
He added: "We promise you more services, more health services, and the rebuilding of hospitals and health centers, and we promise you improved educational services and schools and universities... We also promise you improved services of electricity, water, and sanitation."
