Khaberni - The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced that the Internal Security Command in the Latakia Province arrested the so-called Haider Ali Osman in the Qardaha area, after proving his involvement in inciting violence during the recent protests, targeting security forces and public properties, and promoting sectarian incitement calls.
Investigations showed that Osman exploited his kinship connection to his maternal uncle, Imad Al-Assad, and his former position in the Military Construction Department during the defunct regime's era, to facilitate managing networks for drug smuggling in cooperation with a number of officers. He has been referred to the competent judiciary to take legal action against him.
