Khaberni - The Syrian Artists Syndicate – Damascus Branch mourned today Ahmad Malli, who passed away at the age of 80, after suffering a sudden health condition that led to his admission to one of Damascus hospitals.
According to the syndicate, the deceased's body will be transported this afternoon, Sunday 10 January 2026, starting from the National Hospital in Damascus, followed by the funeral prayer at Said Basha Mosque in Barzeh after the afternoon prayer, before being buried in Al-Rashy Cemetery in the same area. Later, the date and place for condolences will be announced.
Ahmad Malli is considered a prominent figure in Syrian drama, having left a clear mark through his participation in a large number of television, cinema, and theatrical works, most notably "Hulagu" and "Hamam Al-Qishani" among others.
