Khaberni - The Saudi Ministry of Interior issued a statement today regarding the execution of the hirabah ruling on T.A.H.Z. (Yemeni nationality) for his involvement in forming a criminal gang and robbing two vehicles belonging to companies supplying ATMs with cash, using firearms in these acts to shoot and injure two employees of the companies, and robbing three million riyals in the two robbery operations.
The security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned criminal, and the investigation led to him being charged with the crimes. Upon referral to the competent court, a verdict was issued confirming his guilt as charged, stating that what the defendant did constitutes waging war and terrifying the secure people and taking their money, and imposing the hirabah punishment on him, which is execution. The verdict became final after being endorsed by its authority, and a royal decree was issued to enforce what was decided by Sharia on the mentioned imposition of the hirabah punishment on him, which is his execution.
The execution sentence was carried out by killing the criminal today, Saturday 21 / 7 / 1447 AH, corresponding to 10 / 1 / 2026 AD, in the region of Mecca.
