Khaberni - The American platform X, updated the Iranian flag shown on the website of the platform, replacing it with the flag that was in use before the 1979 revolution, following a request from one of the users.
In response to a user's request, Nikita Per, the platform's product manager, stated on Friday that the current Iranian flag will be replaced with the Lion and Sun flag that was used before the revolution.
Indeed, the platform replaced the current flag with the old flag just hours after the official's response.
Traders in the Grand Bazaar in the Iranian capital of Tehran began protests on December 28 last year against the sharp decline in the value of the Iranian rial against foreign currencies, and an escalation of economic problems. The protests later spread to many cities.
The Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian acknowledged the public discontent, affirming that the government is responsible for the current economic problems, and urged officials not to blame external entities such as the United States.
