Egypt The Death of Ahmed Abdelhamids Daughter Days After Her Fathers Death

Khaberni - Artist Ahmed Abdelhamid announced the death of his daughter, after she suffered from a health crisis in recent days, which resulted in her being transferred to one of the major hospitals in Cairo, where she passed away.

This tragedy comes just days after the death of her father, makeup artist Mohamed Abdelhamid, who passed away on December 23, 2025, following a battle with illness.

Ahmed Abdelhamid's sister had announced their father's death on her Instagram account, saying: "In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate: O reassured soul, return to your Lord, pleased and pleasing; then enter among My [servants], And enter My Paradise."

She added: "With profound sadness and sorrow, and hearts believing in God's decree and destiny, we announce the death of our father, the forgiven by Allah's will, Mohammed Abdelhamid Abdel Rahim Hefny."

Ahmed Abdelhamid previously revealed that his father had suffered a sudden health crisis, asking the public to pray for him, writing on his Facebook account: "Prayer changes fate.. Please pray for my dad, may God perform a miracle and bring him back to us and heal him, oh Lord."

In April, about two months after the birth of his daughter, Abdelhamid turned to his audience and followers asking for prayers for his daughter, hoping for her to overcome her health ordeal and start her normal life alongside her parents.

Despite being busy participating in several artistic works in the recent months, the Egyptian artist remained keen on sharing the health details of his daughter, repeatedly requesting prayers for her on every occasion.

As questions about her condition increased, Abdelhamid felt overwhelmed by a sense of helplessness, which led him to share his suffering on his Facebook account, revealing that his daughter Layla had completed two months of her life without him being able to hold her even once or to create any memories he had hoped to experience during that stage.

He noted that top doctors in Egypt were unable to diagnose his daughter's condition, affirming that it was not a medical negligence, but rather a divine will that made her condition rare and puzzling after trying all possible avenues for treatment.
