Khaberni - Media reports revealed that Paris Saint-Germain received a new shock after it had been rumored that coach Luis Enrique was heading to leave after the end of the current season.
Account Actu Foot on X reported that Ousmane Dembélé has refused the Parisian club's offer to renew his contract, in a surprising move within the club corridors, despite the large financial value included in the offer.
It was explained: "The management of Paris Saint-Germain made an offer reaching up to 30 million euros annually, in an attempt to secure the French star's stay within the team's project for the coming years".
It added: "According to circulated information, the player's entourage is not satisfied with the offer made, as they believe the value does not reflect the status Dembélé has reached after winning the Ballon d'Or, considering this achievement imposes different financial terms, where they demand doubling the salary offered".
It increased: "This stance reflects great confidence from the player and his camp in his market value, and puts Paris Saint-Germain in front of a complex equation in the renewal file".
It continued: "Dembélé’s refusal of the offer opens the door to several scenarios, the most prominent being entering new negotiations with improved conditions, or keeping the situation pending until advanced stages of the season, which might attract the interest of major European clubs closely following the situation, on the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain realizes that losing a player of Dembélé’s caliber, whether technically or marketing-wise, would be a strong blow to its sports project, especially after his individual triumph which has enhanced his global stature".
