Khaberni - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Hunaiti, visited yesterday, Friday, the Turkish Aerospace Industries "TUSAŞ" (TUSAŞ), and the Defense Industries company "ROKETSAN" (ROKETSAN), where he was briefed on the main programs of the companies in the fields of military aviation and advanced air systems.
Major General Al-Hunaiti discussed with the head of the Defense Industries Authority in the Republic of Turkey, Haluk Görgün, the prospects for cooperation in the field of defense industries, technology transfer, joint development and manufacturing, and building strategic partnerships that serve the mutual interests of the two countries.
The two parties also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the defense industries aimed at building technological partnerships and establishing an industrial base capable of supporting the armed forces and security requirements of both countries.
Major General Al-Hunaiti, in the presence of a number of senior military officers and the Jordanian ambassador and military attaché in Ankara, emphasized the importance of benefiting from the advanced Turkish experience in the defense industry sector, which contributes to enhancing the technical and operational efficiency of the Jordanian Armed Forces and helps in the training and qualification of human resources working in this field.
