Woman loses 86 kilograms the secret a simple daily habit that changed her life

Khaberni - At a time when many are looking for quick solutions for weight loss, a personal experience of an American woman has revealed that real change can start with a simple daily habit, yet it is profound.

In more detail, a lady named "Cam" successfully lost about 86 kilograms by being committed to daily journaling as a tool for self-accountability and continuity.

"Cam" shared her story on her account on the "X" platform, where she posted two pictures; the first one of a page from her diary featuring her before the weight loss and the phrase "Remember why you started," and the second showing her current, more fit and confident self.

She explained that journaling was a central element in her journey, stating that the diary helped her remind herself of her goals, log what she eats, the amount of water she drinks, alongside her physical exercises, motivational phrases, and positive affirmations.

She confirmed that this simple habit played a crucial role in her commitment to her plan, explaining that writing down daily details made her more aware of her dietary behavior and more committed to her decisions, which gradually reflected in her significant weight loss.

Scientific studies support the experience
The effectiveness of journaling isn't just limited to personal experiences, as it's backed by documented scientific results. According to a report from Harvard University, a study involving about 1,700 participants showed that those who kept to logging their daily meals lost twice as much weight as those who did not document what they ate.

Similarly, a study published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and reported by Michigan State University, noted that people who kept food diaries lost an average of six more pounds compared to others.

In the same context, a study conducted by the Health Research Center affiliated with Kaiser Permanente found that the relationship between journaling and weight loss is direct, where the principal researcher Jack Hollis stated, "The more food records people keep, the more weight they lose."
