Khaberni – Followers of the Khaberni site asked to present their notes to the Minister of Water and Irrigation, Engineer Raed Abu Al-Saud, in light of the good rainy season that Jordan is experiencing.
Following are the suggestions as received by Khaberni:
- With the reservoirs filled this early in the season, thanks be to God.. We hope that the Jordan Valley Authority and the Ministry of Water release some of the water into the Ghor canal and the Karama Dam lake..
- We hope that tanks will be dug in the Jordan Valley area by the Jordan Valley Authority and the farmers there to accommodate the surplus from the reservoirs.
- Also, in the Al-Malaqi area below the Mujib and Wala dams, there was a proposal to build a dam to accommodate the excess water from the two dams.
