Khaberni - The Karak Governorate Public Works team, on Friday, dealt with a slight increase in the water level on the bridge that stretches between the areas of Al-Thaniya and Al-Marj.
Engineer Raed Al-Sahimat, the Director of Karak Public Works, said that the department's staff immediately began cleaning the drainage surfaces to prevent them from clogging, and to avoid accumulation of rainwater on the bridge, pointing out that drainage points were intensified and completely cleaned in preparation for the weather depression.
He clarified that when heavy rain falls, soil erosion occurs along with waste, leading to the closure of the designated drains, confirming that the department's staff are still continuing their fieldwork in all areas of the Karak Governorate.
