Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate has renewed its call for citizens to take necessary precautions in light of the prevailing low-pressure weather system, including staying away from low-lying areas and streambeds and valleys, and preparing water pumps for homes located below street level.
The Directorate urged the utmost care and caution while traveling on roads, to handle road elements cautiously, and to adhere to the instructions of the Public Security officers deployed in the field to provide assistance when needed.
It also emphasized the importance of safe and proper use of heating devices of all kinds, ensuring adequate ventilation from time to time, and securing objects that could be blown away by the wind, such as zinc panels, nets, metal sheets, and water tank covers on rooftops.
The Public Security Directorate urged citizens not to hesitate to call the emergency number (911) when needed.
