Khaberni - Acting Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez confirmed on Thursday that her country is "not subject" to the United States following the arrest of her predecessor Nicolas Maduro on January 3.
Rodriguez said during a memorial ceremony for the victims killed during the American attack on Caracas, "We are not followers nor are we subject", remembering "the loyalty to President Nicolas Maduro who was ‘kidnapped’".
She added, "Here, no one has surrendered. Here, there was a fight (...) a fight for this nation". Official figures indicate that at least 100 people were killed during the attack.
