Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced on Thursday the signing of a joint statement to establish diplomatic relations between Jordan and the Lao People's Democratic Republic; aiming to enhance friendship and cooperation between the two countries, institutionalize shared cooperation in various fields, particularly in politics, economics, social, cultural, and scientific areas, serving the interests of both countries.
The statement was signed on behalf of both governments by the Permanent Representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Walid Khalid Obeidat, and the Permanent Representative of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Ambassador Thongphane Savanphet, at the permanent mission of Jordan to the United Nations in New York.
