Khaberni - The Russian Foreign Ministry called on Thursday for the United States to adhere to international maritime law and to stop actions against an oil tanker registered in Russia that was seized by Washington.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a press statement: "This matter is concerning, especially since the American side has been repeatedly informed that the tanker is registered in Russia and carries its flag. The situation related to the oil tanker could lead to military and political tensions in the European and Atlantic regions."
