It clarified that the technical inspections were conducted following the detection of high electric loss indicators affecting the stability of the service and causing outages and fluctuations for several subscribers within the same area.
The company stated in a press release today that these technical inspections focus on the times preceding weather lows, in order to ensure the stability of the service and its delivery to all subscribers.
It pointed out that what was circulated about "cutting the power for hours" or "procedures outside the legal framework" is completely untrue, as the outage that occurred was very short and limited to just a few minutes.
It added that this was done within known technical procedures aimed at identifying the source of the malfunction and recalibrating the network to protect subscribers, reduce malfunctions, and maintain the safety of the electrical system.
It confirmed that its technical operations are carried out as part of an ongoing development plan that relies on modern technology to enhance response efficiency and reduce the duration of outages, including the use of drones for technical inspection and monitoring indicators of network failures more accurately and safely, through a specialized licensed company that has obtained the necessary approvals from all relevant authorities and according to the existing frameworks and procedures.
It noted that the technical follow-up operations carried out by the company's field teams aim to protect the rights of all subscribers and ensure fairness in service distribution, and to reduce the loss that directly reflects on the quality of the electric current within the same area, and on the network's ability to supply citizens with stable and secure electricity.
