Khaberni - The Ministry of Local Administration confirmed on Thursday its request to all municipalities of the Kingdom to rent the machinery it deems necessary for fieldwork and to address any problems that may appear in the upcoming weather depression, particularly in municipalities expected to experience heavy rainfall.
The Acting Secretary-General of the Ministry of Local Administration, Bakr Al-Rahamneh, stated that a cold air front accompanied by heavy rain is expected to pass starting from Friday morning according to Al Mamlaka channel
He pointed out that emergency rooms are open to receive reports about the upcoming weather depression, urging those residing near torrential streams and valleys to avoid being close to them to safeguard their lives and property.
He emphasized that the machinery will address the hotspots, noting that the ministry is studying the existing hotspots in all municipalities of the Kingdom to develop permanent solutions for these areas.
He also mentioned that the Prime Minister has directed the allocation of 10 million dinars to contribute to addressing the hotspots existing in the municipalities of the Kingdom.
