After its rise today Radical changes in temperature tomorrow in Jordan

Khaberni - - The capital, Amman, and various Jordanian cities experienced today, Thursday, January 8, 2026, warmer weather than usual, as temperatures rose and spring-like conditions prevailed in most areas, due to the influence of a warmer air mass than usual preceding a new low-pressure system affecting the kingdom on Friday.

The weather specialists at Arab Weather reported that the capital, Amman, recorded peak temperatures this Thursday afternoon ranging between 19–20 degrees Celsius, while other regions recorded temperatures between 18–21 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba experienced even warmer conditions, with temperatures ranging between 24–27 degrees Celsius.

The latest weather forecasts issued by Arab Weather indicate radical changes in temperatures during the day on Friday, with significant and noticeable drops, coinciding with the onset of a new weather depression classified as third-degree (medium to high effectiveness), accompanied by a cold air front that will bring moderate to heavy rainfall, along with hail showers.

Accordingly, it is expected that the maximum temperatures on Friday will range between 8–11 degrees Celsius in the mountains, especially in the capital Amman, and between 17–24 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
