Food and Drug Jordan Not Affected by Contamination of Infant Milk Products

Khaberni  - The Food and Drug Corporation clarified that Jordan is not among the countries affected by the batches that were disclosed for all varieties of Nestlé’s infant milk formula, which have been notified as possibly contaminated with Cereulide toxin produced by Bacillus cereus bacteria, which may cause nausea, vomiting, and cramps.

The Corporation confirmed, after taking all necessary precautionary measures, that all Nestlé's infant milk formula products available in the Jordanian market are free from any contamination and are safe to consume, pointing out that the producing company issued a global circular explaining the affected countries, and Jordan is not among these countries and is free from these products as explained via the link on Nestlé's website.

The Corporation invited citizens not to distribute or use any products not registered with it and to contact them in case there is any observation, inquiry, or complaint through the free complaint line 117114, the email [email protected], and via WhatsApp at the number (0795632000).
