Khaberni - Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, said on Thursday that Jordan is considered a time-honored partner for Europe in the Middle East and a fundamental pillar for regional stability.
In a post on the (X) platform, von der Leyen expressed her gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II for the warm hospitality and reception in Amman, on the occasion of the first summit of its kind between the two sides.
She affirmed that the European Union and Jordan are working together to turn commitments into actions, serving stability, resilience, and shared prosperity.
