AlZaytoonah University of Jordan Organizes a Dialogue Session on the Role of Student Clubs in Representing Student Voices

Khaberni - The Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, represented by the Student Clubs Department, organized a dialogue session titled "Student Clubs: Their Role in Representing Student Voices within the University", presented by Professor Aws Qutaishat, the Technical Advisor in the Independent Election Commission and Project Director of the Partnership (Ana Asharek program), in the presence of the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Mamoon Abu Hamad and several members of the faculty, administrative staff, and students.

The session focused on the importance of student clubs as an effective platform for fostering values of constructive dialogue and active citizenship, enhancing student participation in university life and decision-making, which contributes to building an academic environment based on partnership and responsibility.

The session included an overview of the concept of student clubs and their organizational and participatory roles within the university, mechanisms for representing student voices in a democratic and effective way, as well as reviewing practical models and successful experiences in student work, and the role of clubs in promoting a culture of dialogue, teamwork, and building young leaders capable of making a positive contribution to the university environment and the local community.

The session witnessed rich interventions from university students, discussing ways to develop the role of student clubs and transform them into vital spaces for expressing the needs and aspirations of students, and enabling them to perform their role as active partners in building the university community.
