Khaberni - The Eastern Military Zone thwarted early Thursday, within its jurisdiction and area of responsibility, an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs loaded via balloons directed by electronic devices. The attempt was detected by the border guard units who engaged and brought it down along with its load inside Jordanian territory, in coordination with security agencies and the Drug Enforcement Administration. The seized items were transferred to the competent authorities for necessary actions.
